Yes it's got a daft name but I'm seriously impressed with the Vauxhall/Opel Adam

Does the infotainment system not do the smartphone link that MyLink has?
On the Chevy Sonic/Spark, you can get an app for your phone (if it's compatible, iPhones are) that gives you GPS, and nice one to boot.

I phoned Vauxhall an hour ago to ask the very same question and was told you can download an app called BringGo to get satnav in the car. The infotainment essentially acts as a portal for it. Mind you I then looked up reviews of BringGo - not good

On iPhone or android?
I had an android when I got the car, BringGo just didn't work. Not compatible, and from the reviews it looks like some phones were compatible but became incompatible, causing the shitty reviews.
I've got an iPhone now, and I think BringGo is fantastic. Of course, I haven't upgraded to the full version, and some reviews complained of that causing issues.

Yeah, I think it's strongly biased to low reviews because of incompatibility in the google play store, at least from what I remember.
I don't really understand why it's set up the way it is. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to integrate bringgo into the system in the car, rather than requiring you to have a separate app. It's a nice concept, navigation for ~$50 as opposed to $800 or more on other cars, but there should at least be an option for a true integrated satnav.
Of course, then they'd struggle to sell OnStar 'Directions & Connections' even more.
